Not your ordinary blonde Swede

Doreen Genmark, Co-Founder & Creative Director love, STHLM.Doreen is not your ordinary blonde blue-eyed Swede. The former Public Relations Manager Sports for government-owned Svenska Spel and now freelancing Creative Director at Destiny Creative is fulfilling a lifelong dream of living and working in the United States. In 2013 she and her family relocated from Sigtuna, Stockholm to San Diego. Although less significant today, Sigtuna has an important place in Sweden's early history. It is the oldest town in Sweden, having been founded in 970. Stora Gatan, said to be Sweden’s oldest main street, dates back to the time of 10th-century King Erik the Victorious. For over a decade now Doreen Genmark has been turning new and creative ideas to reality, for renowned brands such as; Folkhem, Ted Baker, Modern Amusement and most recently Montesquieu Winery and NAACP nominated singer Lady Ele. Doreen is married to Krister Genmark, the Regional Manager for Web Manuals, a web-based application for digitizing manuals, enabling control, compliance, and agility for the aviation industry. 14 years ago, Krister won a green card through the National Lottery and it took him eight years to convince the rest of the family to move and now they are in San Diego living the American dream.

Her son Jordan Genmark Heath, also know as The Swedish Black Guy, started his high school career at Francis Parker School and later graduated, June 2017, from Cathedral Catholic High School. He has earned a full scholarship to study and play football for the prestigious University of Notre Dame.

With no plans on ever leaving Sunny California - Doreen can't help but every so often miss her hometown Stockholm. love, STHLM™ is her creative outlet for that longing.
